Giyat: Education Science upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism and unethical publication practices. Every manuscript submitted to the journal must be original and free from any form of plagiarism, duplication, or fabrication.
1. Plagiarism Screening
All submissions are checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software before the review process begins. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) may be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright depending on the severity of overlap.
2. Forms of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
-
Copying text, data, figures, or ideas from another source without proper citation.
-
Self-plagiarism (reusing one’s own previously published work without disclosure).
-
Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgment.
-
Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
3. Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their manuscripts. Proper citation and acknowledgment of others’ work must be maintained at all times.
4. Editorial Action
If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted, and the author may be blacklisted from future submissions.
5. Ethical Commitment
By submitting to Giyat: Education Science, authors agree to comply with this plagiarism policy and to uphold the principles of honesty, transparency, and academic ethics in their scholarly work.
